Goria has patented other products like burial vaults for the funeral industry and contract molding for major boat and kayak manufacturers. In 2003, our enterprising founder, Pierre Goria, encountered a pressing safety concern while on a busy construction job site. Amidst the noise and chaos, he noticed the flimsy wooden fire extinguisher stands that haphazardly dotted the landscape, poorly serving their purpose. Conversations with contractors and industry veterans unveiled a significant gap in safety solutions. Determined to address this critical need, Goria Corporation quickly moved to innovate. Within just six months, we filed for a patent, designed specialized molds, and embarked on the exciting journey of producing Firemate™.
