Smart-Hose® Technologies produces passive, integrated safety hose assemblies, break-away hose assemblies, and break-away adapter/coupler products for industrial transfer applications. Safety Hose Assemblies: Integrated valves will instantaneously stop product flow if a catastrophic failure occurs. No human intervention is needed to activate the system. Break-Away Hose Assemblies: Catastrophic hose failure protection, plus, an engineered break-point built into the end fitting. Designed to protect plant, tank truck, rail car, loading arms, and workforce from the hazardous consequences of a pull-away incident. Break-Away Adapter/Coupler: Adapter/Coupler products provide break-away protection and offer the flexibility to be used with Smart-Hose® Assemblies, conventional hose assemblies, or where no hose attachments are required. The Smart-Hose® Safety System can be incorporated into hazardous transfer hose assemblies from ¼" ID through 8" ID, and break-away technologies in 1 ¼ ", 2" and 3" ID. Full-flow Technology at a price significantly less than conventional break-away apparatus.
