The Acrisure Amphitheater is a 12,000-seat outdoor concert and event venue located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Owned and operated by the Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention/Arena Authority, it is part of a significant urban riverfront redevelopment project. The venue, which encompasses 85,000 square feet, is designed to host over 54 ticketed performances each season, along with community events, and is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors annually. Construction of the amphitheater began in May 2024, with completion anticipated in spring 2026. The venue features various seating options, including upper and lower concourses, fixed and lawn seating, suites, and a VIP pavilion. Surrounding the amphitheater is a revitalized riverfront area, which includes a nearly 4-acre "Green Ribbon" and additional parking spaces. The project aims to boost local economic development and has committed to supporting minority and women-owned businesses through its construction contracts. The Grand Opening weekend will feature Lionel Richie as the headliner on May 15, 2026, with an exciting inaugural season lineup.
