Founded by a fellow adoptive mother, the Bound With Love Foundation is here to not only advocate for adoption but to also shed light into rollercoaster of a journey that it can be.   Fees for domestic adoption services can vary drastically and domestic adoption costs are rising, now averaging $65,000 and can easily reach over $80k+.  Sadly, a little-known secret is that unexpected adoption fees come up too - such as prolonged travel stays or contested adoptions after the child is placed with the adoptive family. When this happens, prospective adoptive parents are usually at a significant financial and emotional loss.
