Varanini is an Italian family-run roasting company founded in 1970 by Stefano Zappa who started distributing fine roasted coffee from his tiny plant based in the heart of Milano city: via Luigi Varanini 3. Since then Varanini has been enhancing its quality sourcing, blend expertise, and production technology together with its demand and renown. Every day it roasts up to twenty tons of premium coffee bean varieties carefully sourced from Latin America, Africa and Asia and delivers worldwide fifteen main blends as well as a series of dedicated blends for professional consumption (esp. ho.re.ca. and vending). With the unchanged passion for the Italian tradition of crafted quality espresso coffee, today the second generation sons, Alberto and Massimiliano, do still strive for excellence in the creation of new harmonious and well-balanced flavours by paying constant attention to selection, roasting and education of professionals.
