Cantina Beato Bartolomeo da Breganze is located in Veneto region, in Breganze a small town of 8,000 people, about an hour from Venice. The winery was founded on Valentine's Day in 1950 by 121 farmers. The Winery takes its name from Beato Bartolomeo, a Dominican friar who lived in the 13th century, considered one of the most prestigious figures in Breganze. The grapes that are produced in this area are Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Glera, Chardonnay, Tai Bianco and Vespaiola. Red berried grapes are Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Nero and Marzemina. The vineyards in the Breganze area are located above all in a hilly area, with excellent sun exposure and volcanic and alluvial soils.
