Christopher Wall is an independent designer based in Birmingham, UK. Located in the traditional heartland of British manufacturing, Christopher designs, develops & produces limit edition & one-off pieces that explore aspects of colour, material and texture. Having worked and studied Product Design in the Black Country, Christopher then moved to Italy where he completed his MA at Florence Design Academy. He has since produced furniture for several independent studios and has also been commissioned to design furniture for the Jamie Oliver brand. Christopher now designs and produces pieces in his studio. Working with different materials, exploring their potential and developing techniques & processes are the driving force behind his work. Each piece is crafted by hand using ethically sourced materials and production methods. With the aim of minimising large scale manufacture, Christopher works alongside local artisans and craftspeople around the West Midlands to create unique, tailored pieces.
