Essex Energy Italy has always been innovation-driven since it was founded more than 60 years ago, introducing the most innovative CTCs in its history (e.g. Twin CTC, 60 Micron Insulation CTC, Silver Alloy CTC, Twin Giant CTC, and Aluminum Profiles for Submarine High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC)), when it was difficult to even imagine them! Each product represents a significant advancement in conductor technology and demonstrates dedication to pushing the limits of what is thought possible. Our plant is in Quattordio (AL), Piedmont, in northern Italy, and is an ideal location for distribution of our products throughout Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, and the Middle East. This location has set a record with over 11,000 tons of CTC in a single year-in 2023-and will continue to operate as a center of innovation to drive the future of CTC technology!
