Friends of the British Overseas Territories is a charitable organisation which aims to promote the Overseas Territories and their interests, and strengthen the UK's deep historic links to them. Our mission encompasses several key areas: Education: We strive to educate the British public on the cultural and historical significance of the Overseas Territories, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of their unique heritage. Events: We organise networking and social events that connect UK politicians, significant figures, and the public with representatives from the Overseas Territories, strengthening ties and facilitating meaningful dialogue. Political Engagement: We work closely with UK politicians to highlight and address issues facing the Overseas Territories, ensuring their interests are represented and considered in policy discussions. Campaigns: We raise awareness about environmental and other critical issues affecting the Overseas Territories, advocating for sustainable solutions and support.
