We are a hosting provider that owns and manages its own network and hardware and is well known and trusted in the circumvention technology and technology for human rights circles. We have developed and supported multiple projects focusing on protecting digital human rights and privacy. We have broad experience in supporting complex hosting needs of Human Rights organizations. We also provide sustainable web hosting, cloud services and powerful niche offerings in information security. Collaborating with cultural organizations and technical pioneers, we strive to give our users the full opportunities of the internet while also protecting their privacy. We are actively involved in open source development, and we collaborate with outside projects in the areas of technology, journalism, culture, education, sustainability, and internet freedom. We are constantly improving our platform, partly thanks to the feedback of our customers, many of whom are professionals. We use cloud and cluster hosting based on a storage platform. All components, such as power and internet, have multiple connections and we use two separate data centers for optimal security and up-time. Greenhost keeps a close eye on the latest technological developments. We regularly experiment with new software and programming languages so we can eventually offer them to our customers. The Greenhost team consists of people from various backgrounds, allowing us to each approach our field of work from a different perspective. Greenhost actively contributes to (open-source) products and delivers code back to the community of open-source developers. Outside of Greenhost our employees design websites, study ICT law, philosophy and/or develop open-source software.
