I bought my first car in 2006. I was so excited that I bought it without a car radio, as I wanted to get a proper sound system myself. I started looking, but everything was quite expensive. Then a colleague of mine told me: "Why don't you build a car PC yourself?". I started to read up and I got into it right away. I bought one of the first industrial Mini-Itx on the market, a car power supply, and a mini case, I set everything up and installed the Windows XP media center. Surprisingly, it started up with the first shot. I imported a 7'' touchscreen from China and I set up my car media center in almost a month. Then I thought: "Why not making a business out of this?". So I studied the industrial sector and talked about it with my father, who replied: let's do it together. And this was the beginning of 2P TECH, our firm focused on the sale/distribution and consultation in the industrial sector. Over the following years, we acquired increasing reliability, getting a good positioning on the market and high-profile customers. After 11 years in business my father retired, and I founded my new firm KM Soltec.
