Luxoflux Corp. was an American video game developer founded in January 1997 by Peter Morawiec and Adrian Stephens, based in Santa Monica, California. The company was established by former developers from Sega Technical Institute and gained recognition with its debut title, *Vigilante 8*, released in 1998. This success led to a sequel and a Nintendo 64 port. Over the years, Luxoflux expanded its team and developed several notable games, including *True Crime: Streets of LA*, *Kung Fu Panda*, and *Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen*. The studio specialized in action, racing, and licensed titles across various gaming consoles. At its peak, Luxoflux employed around 80 staff members before being acquired by Activision in 2002. The company continued to create games until its closure in February 2010.
