We're an independent advertising and communications agency based in Brisbane, Australia. The company was founded in 1994 by Murray Berghan as ‘Advertising Depot' and we changed our name to ‘Make' in March 2007. Our ethos is ‘Effectiveness through Creativity'. We believe that creativity can be a true economic multiplier, because strategy gives the accuracy of relevance and creativity gives us the power to engage. And it works! In 2008 we won the coveted Marketing Program of the Year award at the Australian Marketing Institute's national effectiveness awards for our client Youngcare. We were also the most awarded agency for effectiveness in Australia, winning both state and national awards for our clients Brisbane City Council, Bond University, rare|wear and AMF Bowling. In 2009 and again in 2010, Campaign Brief Magazine ranked us as the number one independent agency in Queensland, and number two overall and we've been B&T Agency of the Year Nominees every year from 2006 to 2010. We've also received other accolades from Cannes, New York Festivals, London International, Young Guns International, Caxtons, Australian Direct Marketing Association, Australian Marketing Institute, Australian Interactive Media Industry Association, Sirens, and BADC.
