Our mission at Mastertech.ai is to use AI to make auto repairs faster, easier and safer for shops and DIYers. Auto repair shops are struggling to keep up with the demands and servicing increasingly complex vehicles on the road. Today, 70% of all auto services and repairs are performed at independent shops, where the shop needs to be able to diagnose and repair any of the 60,000 unique models of vehicle that exist today. Additionally, there's a labor shortage of qualified automotive technicians in the industry, leading to misdiagnosis, lower quality service and cost overruns. Similar to how AI is making significant advances in medical diagnostics, Mastertech.ai aims to be the leader for AI diagnostics for vehicles by aggregating all sources of data to help technicians quickly and accurately diagnose vehicle issues, assist with performing repairs, leading to better results, lower cost, and safer vehicles. We're using vehicle history data and OEM specifications to discover recommended services for the vehicle. We're helping shops search through past successful repairs to diagnose common issues. We're building better communication and transparency between shops and customers to track repair status, and help bridge the gap with car owners to understand vehicle diagnosis and repair options. Long term, our goal is to reduce the overall cost and complexity for auto repairs, help improve quality and safety for auto repair shops, and lower complexity and cost for car ownership.
