2004 – With Maltacourt offices already in Canada and the UK, Maltacourt Australia was formed in April 2004, with David Parfitt, the Company's current CEO, being one of the three original Maltacourt owners in the business. 2007 – Maltacourt awarded a Board position on the premier Industry Association body, the Australian Federation of International Freight Forwarders (AFIF). This position is still held today. 2011 - David Parfitt secured 100% ownership of Maltacourt Australia. 2016 – Maltacourt Australia became a member of the WCA (World Cargo Association). With over 10,000 WCA member globally, Maltacourt Australia was able to source even more competitive rates into and out of Australia, giving their customers greater flexibility and choice of airlines, and shipping lines, that could be utilised. 2017 – A year for major growth within the company. Maltacourt Australia was re-branded as MGL Logistics, a change of name only. The company retained the same ownership, and continued to work with the same agents and suppliers both within Australia and around the Globe. MGL expanded their footprint in Australia by opening an office in Melbourne on August 1st, and also purchased a new expanded facility in Caringbah, NSW to house their NSW operations and Management team.
