MTM are manufacturers of automotive components such as the doorcheck, automatic gearshift assembly, park brake, interior and exterior door handles to name a few. We currently export to all parts of the globe where our products are tested to the toughest environments. We started the export journey back in 1992 and we are one of a few Australian suppliers who are still growing our export business. Our company has evolved into utilising automotive concepts and applying them in non-automotive fields such as mining lamps, the field of mechatronics, transport and water purification. We are not limited by what we make in the automotive field but rather think outside the square to create the right environment for the right solution. 25 years ago we used to make a lot more parts than we do now and we used to joke that we almost make all the parts for the car why not the whole car! So when the Tomcar opportunity arose we jumped at the chance of building an All Terrain Vehicle and being the last manufacturer standing in 2017. The current 3 automotive OEMs may leave Australian shores but MTM will endeavour to keep the spirit of manufacturing alive in Australia.
