Ogena Solutions, LLC is a new business venture formed from the company Anivac Corporation which was created in Canada in 2005. Ogena (pronounced "O-Jenna"​) Solutions is dedicated to providing effective, environmentally friendly bio-security products, equipment and protocols. It currently operates in the animal health, cleaning and disinfection chemicals and equipment sectors including veterinary, food animal and general farm applications. Bio-security coupled with green technologies is central to the company's product focus. Bio-security means protection from biological harm; the protection of the economy; environment. and health of living things from diseases, pests, and bio-terrorism. The company's focus accomplishes this by the provision for category leading disinfectants, biocides, and treatment technology which it provides to its customers through a multinational distribution network. Green technology is the application of one or more of environmental science, green chemistry, environment monitoring and electronic devices to monitor, model and conserve the natural environment and resources, and to curb the negative impacts of human involvement. The Company produces and markets only environmentally responsible products which can be obtained through sustainable sources. The name Ogena Solutions was created as a combination and reformulation of two words "Oxygen"​ and "Genesis"​. Oxygen is both the source element for all animal life and an environmentally responsible agent for pathogen control. Genesis reflects upon a fresh start and a new beginning in the field of bio-security which Ogena products represent. Ogena thus is a synthesis of these two foundation concepts applied to the emerging field of green bio-security.
