Each citizen contributes to the recycling of over 5 kg of PET bottles annually, significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The organization supports a comprehensive collection network, with 98% of beverage producers, importers, fillers, and retailers as members. Collected bottles are sorted and processed into high-quality, food-safe Swiss Recycling PET (R-PET) for new bottles. The Swiss R-PET Label ensures traceability and safety, confirming that the recycled material is 100% Swiss-origin. PET-Recycling Schweiz collaborates with processors like AGIR AG and Poly Recycling AG to maintain high standards in recycling and support the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions.
