Rising Tide is an Intelligent Automation platform for logistics. We work with both traditional logistics companies (think parcel and e-commerce deliveries) and "expanded logistics" companies (home services companies like HVAC, lawncare, mosquito services, etc.). Expanded Logistics is a $650bn industry, 5x the size of traditional logistics. Intelligent Automation in logistics requires streaming. Streaming allows real time data from multiple sources that continuously flows (or "streams") to execute intelligently automated decisions altering the old plan for new events. Streaming incorporates logistics into the whole health of a company and kills bolt on technology, like route optimizers, that only optimize one-way batched data, data that can become obsolete dozens or even hundreds of times each day. We've shown that logistics is sorely underestimated as a major margin mover in all companies, not just transportation. By tying streaming logistics to margin impact, we've seen projected increases of 15%-35% of gross revenue. This is in industries with razor-thin margins, where excessive manual management is the prime deterrent to profitability. Our intuitive and design-focused interface is already delivering results to companies as diverse as FedEx route owners and HVAC companies. Focusing on design improves the employee experience; automating tasks leverages and elevates human managers to focus on relationships and escalations that require their full attention.
