Solas Ray™ Lighting is a developer and manufacturer of LED light fixtures for industrial, commercial, and specialty applications including hazardous, high ambient temperature, vandal-proof, and food service locations. Our mission is to always provide "the right light" by continuously developing a comprehensive line of innovative LED lighting products and by maintaining a high level of expertise. History Solas Ray™ Lighting was founded in 2012 as a division of Continental Inc. to develop products based on newly emerging high lumen output LEDs. Continental Inc. had been engineering and developing superior optics for halogen automobile headlamps since 1985 and with that experience, was the perfect parent company to launch a LED lighting division. In 2018, Solas Ray™ Lighting was acquired by Direct Tech Sales, LLC (DTS) doing business as RCA Commercial Electronics. Bringing together Solas Ray™ Lighting and RCA Commercial Electronics under one roof allowed DTS to offer a complete line of LED lighting products to serve almost any industrial or commercial need. In 2024, 55 West LLC licensed the Solas Ray brand name and continues the tradition of providing specialty LED lighting solutions.
